Role Overview
The Business Development Executive – Campus Drive will be responsible for planning, executing, and scaling campus hiring drives for Tech and White-Collar job roles, working closely with:
- Colleges & Universities
- Training & Placement Officers (TPOs)
- Faculty & Academic Leadership
- Internal Training, Placement & Operations teams
This role is ideal for professionals with campus engagement, institutional outreach, and placement execution experience.
Key Responsibilities
1) Campus Engagement & Drive Execution
- Identify and onboard target colleges and universities for campus drives
- Coordinate with TPOs and faculty to schedule and execute campus hiring drives
- Conduct pre-placement talks, student orientation sessions, and assessments
- Manage end-to-end drive execution including:
- Student mobilisation & shortlisting
- Onboarding & eligibility checks
- Placement tracking and closures
- Ensure high student and institutional satisfaction through effective engagement
2) Business Development & Institutional Relationships
- Visit campuses to promote ExcelR’s placement-linked and employability programs
- Build long-term relationships with TPOs, Deans, HoDs, and Placement Committees
- Identify customised program requirements and route qualified leads to internal B2A teams
- Strengthen ExcelR’s campus hiring footprint across assigned locations
3) Tech & White-Collar Hiring Focus
- Support campus drives for Tech & White-Collar roles, including:
- IT Services & Software Roles
- Analytics & Data Roles
- BFSI, Operations, Sales & Customer Success
- Align student profiles with employer eligibility and hiring requirements
- Coordinate closely with placement and employer engagement teams
4) Reporting, Coordination & Compliance
- Maintain campus-wise trackers, drive reports, and placement dashboards
- Prepare weekly/monthly MIS on outreach, drives, onboarding, and placements
- Use CRM and reporting tools for transparency and forecasting
- Escalate operational challenges as per defined escalation matrix
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Qualification: Graduate / MBA / Master’s (preferred)
- Experience & Skill Set: 2–5 years of experience in:
- Campus recruitment / placement coordination
- EdTech institutional sales
- College outreach or career services
- Strong communication, presentation & relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with on-ground campus travel and multi-drive execution
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
- Proficiency in regional language is an added advantage (city/state-specific)
