Job Summary
The Placement Coordinator is responsible for supporting student placements by acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned students and coordinating with internal teams and employer partners. The role involves screening student profiles against client job descriptions, scheduling and managing interviews, ensuring student readiness, and driving successful placements in line with organizational targets.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Scrutinise student profiles and shortlist candidates in alignment with client job descriptions (JDs).
- Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for assigned students throughout the placement lifecycle.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between students and employers, ensuring timely communication.
- Coordinate closely with the Skill Development / Training team to ensure students meet client expectations.
- Collaborate with the Client Acquisition Coordinator to ensure allotted students are placed within defined timelines.
- Ensure a smooth and professional interview process by guiding students before, during, and after interviews.
- Maintain regular communication with both employed and unemployed graduates to track placement status.
- Update and maintain accurate records of interviews, feedback, and placement outcomes in the internal portal/CRM.
- Work towards achieving monthly placement targets and KPIs assigned by the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employer partners through effective communication.
- Participate in employability workshops, student orientation sessions, and placement-related events.

Educational Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Human Resources, Management, Education, or a related field (preferred).
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in placements, career services, recruitment coordination, or a similar role.
- EdTech or training industry experience preferred.
